Southeast Ohio Food Bank

Help fight hunger by volunteering with the Southeast Ohio Food Bank. Groups of 10–20 can participate in box packing sessions that directly benefit local families in need.

My Very Own Blanket

My Very Own Blanket is dedicated to warming the hearts of every child and teen in the foster care system and those in need with handmade blankets or quilts, giving them a sense of comfort, security, and, most of all, a smile. Handmade blankets are created with the loving care of “Blanket Angel” volunteers and are donated locally.

Guests can take part in simple, meaningful acts of kindness during their stay like writing notes of encouragement to local nursing home residents, leaving non-perishable food for the local Food Bank, or picking up a blessing bag at checkout to keep in your car and share with someone in need.

You can also collect pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, bring a book to contribute to our cozy Book Nook, or help with community cleanup efforts. Some guests even choose to volunteer at the local food bank or make fleece blankets for children in foster care.
